Double-sided tissue tape is used for mounting, print finishing, carton and box assembly, and light component fixing. Its thin tissue carrier bonds two surfaces with no visible fixing and almost no added thickness.
Tissue tape has a very thin paper-like carrier and suits work where the bond should be invisible and add no thickness. Foam tape has a thicker foam carrier that absorbs surface irregularity and vibration, so it suits mounting heavier items to uneven surfaces. Tissue is for finishing; foam is for fixing.
